I have been travelling and photographing the American Southwest since 2002: through Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.
Clouds streaming over Shiprock.
Shiprock is the is the erosional remnant of the throat of an extinct volcano. It stands nearly 1,600 feet high and can be seen for miles around. It is sacred to the Navajo nation.
Clouds over Shiprock.
Chaco Canyon contains a series of complexes (pueblos) built by the Anasazi (or ancestral Puebloans) between 900 and 1150.
A back road in New Mexico.
Lower Antelope Canyon, Arizona.
Near Escalante, Utah.
